Abstract

The objectives of the study were to assess the yield of wheat and chickpea under rainfed condition with module of natural resource management using technological intervention. Mono cropping of paddy is the dominating system in this adopted village. Looking to the agro-climatic situation and demand of Poha mills, farmers prefer onlyto cultivate Mahamaya and Swarna varieties of paddy in Kharif & Both varieties are long duration. In late sowing condition yield becomes decreases due to lack of residual moisture for the establishment of a second crop of wheat & Chickpea. For enhancing the yield of second crop technological intervention carried out. the study was conducted in NICRA project adopted village Bakulahi of KVK, Raipur (Bhatapara) Bhatapara block of Baloda Bazar Bhatapara (Chhattisgarh).
