The present investigations were conducted during during kharif-2014 at Research Farm, Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyala (IGKV), Raipur, Chhattishgarh. The experiment was laid out in Randomized Block Design (RBD) with two replications. 22 genotypes including two checks (Anand Kalmegh-1, Simmegha) of kalmegh were evaluated of mean performance for yield and quality attributes with fifteen yield contributing characters. The maximum days to 50% first was noted in IKM-16 whichwas followed by IKM 15. The highest plant height was noted in IKM-5 which was followed by IKM-9. The maximum number of secondary branches was noted in IKM-9 which was followed by IKM-1. The maximum number of tertiary branches was noted in IKM-1 which was followed by IKM-9. The maximum average internode length was noted in IKM-2 which was followed by IKM-1. The maximum average pod length wasnoted in IKM-5 and IKM-20 which was followed by IKM-3 and IKM-4. The maximum average leaf length was observed in IKM21 which was followed by IKM-4. The maximum average leaf width was observed in IKM-14 which was followed by IKM-16. The maximum petiole length was observed in IKM-2 which was followed by IKM-5 and IKM-18. The highest fresh herbage yield was recorded in IKM-1 and IKM-7 which was followed by IKM-20. The maximum dry herbage yield was recorded in IKM-1 which was followed by IKM-24.
