To study the efficacy of different bio pesticides and insecticides against maize stem borers, Chilo partellus (Swinhoe) and Sesamia inferens (Walker) in maize crop, an experiment was carried out at College of Agriculture, Shivamogga. The results revealed that chlorpyriphos ST + FS was most promising by recording lowest damage in terms of pinholes and dead hearts. This was followed by chlorpyriphos ST, Beauveria bassiana, Metarrhizium anisopliae and Azadirachtin.
