Studies were undertaken during kharif, 2012 to study population dynamics of brown plant hopper and its predators in rice crop at Banaras Hindu University in agricultural research form. The population of BPH appeared on cropfrom 17–23 days after transplanting in last week of August. However, maximum infestation was observed from 3rd week of August to mid of September. The population fluctuation was correlated with abiotic factors which showed a positive correlation with temperature (r= 0.094432) and Sunshine hours (r= 0.034190) whereas, a negative correlation was found to exist with rainfall (r=-0.155382) and relative humidity (r=-0.416372). Population ofspiders andthe green mirid bug (Cyrtorhinuslividipennis) initially were at par with each other but later, the mirid bug population (r= 0.554610) increased, whereas population of spiders (r= 0.432587) was always lower than that of C. lividipennis.
