The experiment was conducted to know the effect of black polythene mulch on growth and yield of cabbage. The treatments were polythene mulch (with or without) and the variety green Express. There was a positive impact of mulch on yield and quality. The black polythene mulch was done 15 days after transplanting (DAT). It showed significant increase in number of wrapper leaves, day to maturity, plant fresh weight, head weight, headdiameter, yield and NPK content of leaves.
