Population Dynamics of Jassid, Amrasca bigutulla bigutulla on Bt cotton

The jassid population wascommenced from SMW 29 and increased thereafter till SMW 34. The peak population was observed in SMW 33 and SMW 34 and thereafter its population decreased up to SMW 52. The population of natural enemy, green lacewing was commenced from SMW 32 and reached at peak in SMW 33. The correlation among peak population of jassid and weather factors showed that maximum temperature and morning relative humidity affected negatively, whereas positive correlation obtained with minimumtemperature and evening relative humidity. Green lace wing showed positive correlation with jassid peak incidence.
