The present investigation on line x tester analysis was conducted in okra to study the magnitude of heterosis for thirteen plant traits including fruit yield and its component traits. The experimental material comprised of 14 genetically diverse genotypes and their 40 hybrids. Significant high standard heterosis and high per se performance with regards to fruit yield and its components traits were recorded by VIO 47672 x GJO-3 (36.60% and 16.85 t/ha) IC-045796 x GJO-3 (27.56% and 14.55 t/ha) and IC-111493 x GJO-3 (23.45% and 14.08 t/ha) in positive direction.
