A field study was conducted to evaluate the effectiveness of graded levels of boron fertilizers borax and granubor in supplying B to maize. Boron application improved all the agronomic growth parameters and increased the yield attributing characters. Both B fertilizers significantly increased the plant height, number of leaves, length of the cob, number of rows per cob and number of grain per cob, test weight and yield. Boron sources were found equally effective in supplying B to maize crop. Granubor gave significantly high yield at 8 kg B ha−1. Yield difference between borax and granubor was not significant at all three levels. Granubor applied plots had significantly high residual B in compare to borax applied plots.
