Influence of Organic Nutrients and Bioregulators on Growth, Yield and Quality Parameters of Cauliflower (Brassica oleraceae L.)

An investigation was carried out at Department of Crop Physiology, to study the effect of organic manures (Farmyard manure and vermicompost) and organic bioregulators (panchagavya and humic acid) in comparison with inorganic fertilizers on growth and development of cauliflower. The treatment T₉ with the combined application of organic manures and bioregulators (100% Recommended dose of fertilizers through vermicompost 3.1 t ha⁻¹ + foliar spray of humic acid (0.1%)) registered the maximum growth, dry matter production, yield and yield attributes, at 25, 40, 55, 70^th day after planting and at harvesting stage because organic manures provide enough nutrient requirements for proper growth of the crop plant and may enhance the uptake of nutrients, increase the assimilation capacity and will stimulate the hormonal activity as well as plant growth.
