Field experiments to study the influence of weather factors on the leaves infestation of rice leaf folder, Cnaphalocrocis medinalis (Guenee) were undertaken at the Agronomy farm, college of agriculture Dapoli during Kharif season, 2012. The leaves infestation started from 2nd week of August (32 Meteorological week) recorded 0.14 per cent coincided with tillering stage and reach it's peak in the 2nd week of October (41 Meteorological week) recorded 7.14 per cent. The leaves infestation of C. medinalis was maximum in first and last fortnight of October coincided with flag leaf stag and panicle initiation stage. The infestation revealed, a significantly positive correlation with Bright sun shine hours (r=0.664) and maximum temperature (r=0.717) whereas minimum temperature, morning and evening relative humidity and rainfall showed significantly negative correlation.
