Abstract

Kidney is main excretory organ of the body. It has significant effect on various activities of the body. Ethylene glycol is known to experimentally induce kidney stone in experimental animals. Various plants has been used for treatment of diseases. Experiment was conducted on 90 wistar rats. Present study was conducted to know the effect of biherbal extract of Bryophyllum calcynium and Tribulus terrestis in Ethylene glycol induced kidney stone in wistar rats. Measurement of weight and feed consumption was carried out at various interval. Data was analysed for the efficacy of biherbal extract. Data revealed that biherbal extract has significant effect on body weight and feed consumption.
