Abstract

Population fluctuation studies on natural enemies like lady bird beetle and spider revealed that the crop sown on 3rd July with spacing of 45 x 5cm recorded highest population of lady bird beetle and spider and proved safer in increasing the population of lady bird beetle and spider. The results regarding the plant parameters revealed that the crop sown on 15th June with spacing of 30 x 10cm or 45 x 10cm proved effective in recording higher grain yield of soybean. Studies revealed that yield decreases with delay sowing. Hence, the farmer should go for sowing the crop on 15th June with spacing of 45 x 10cm to get higher grain yield of soybean.
