An experiment was conducted to study the compatibility of marigold water extract with bacterial and fungal biocontrol agents under in vitro conditions. Bacterial biocontrol agents viz., Pseudomonas fluorescens and Bacillus subtilis were compatible with each other's and with Trichoderma harzianum. Pseudomonas fluorescens was highly compatible with marigold water extract than Bacillus subtilis. Fungal biocontrol agent, Trichoderma harzianum was inhibited by marigold water extract at a concentration of 75 and 100 mg/20ml medium. The fungal biocontrol agent was highly compatible with the marigold water extract than the bacterial biocontrol agents.
