Field experiments were conducted for continuous three years during 2012–13 to 2014–13 at Main Agricultural Research Station, University of Agricultural Sciences, Dharwad, Karnataka and at farmers’ field near Krishi Vidnan Kendra, Mattikoppa, Belgaum district to evaluate the efficiency of pre and post-emergence herbicides on weed management in Bt-cotton, the results revealed that the pre-emergence application of diuron (80% WP) at 1.25 kg ha−1 followed by post-emergence application of Glyphosate (41% SL) at 2.5 kg ha−1 at 55 DAS or pre-emergence application of diuron @ 1.25 kg a.i. ha−1 fb post-emergence application of glufosinate ammonium @ 0.375 kg a.i. ha−1 (T11) recorded the weed density and weed dry weight reasonably at lower level and increased the seed cotton yield under rainfed Bt-cotton.
