Survey of 9 blocks and 115 villages was conducted in Bilaspur district in Rabi season during the year 200910, to know the pattern of distribution of weeds along with the identification of 5 invasive weeds. Survey was done in cropped area, non-cropped area and garbage area. In Bilaspur district, during rabi season highest IVI registered in Physallis minima in cropped area of linseed. However, in non-cropped area and garbage area Ageratum conyzoides registered highest density/m2, frequency, relative density, relative frequency and IVI during rabi season.
