Abstract

A field experiment was conducted at Hariyebbi during Kharif, 2013 and Summer, 2013 to study the “Performance of different groundnut genotypes “ The results of the two years pooled data revealed that, among the different genotypes, KCG-6 recorded significantly higher 100 seed weight (29.7 g) number of pods per plant (36.3), shelling per cent (67.1%), pod weight per plant (23.7 g), pod yield (1338 kg/ha), net returns (Rs.25703/ha) and B: C ratio over TMV2 (26.6 g, 27.3, 63.0, 19.1 g, 1079 kg/ha, Rs. 15062 and 1.63) and closely followed by KCG-2 and ICGV91114 respectively
