Study on seasonal abundance of Spilosoma obliqua Walker (Arctiidae: Lepidoptera) on castor was carried out at Department of Agricultural Entomology, B. A. College of Agriculture, Anand Agricultural University, Anand during July to January 2014–15. The pest was active on castor crop from 4th week of September to 3rd week of November. The higher activity was found during 2nd week of October to 3rd week of November. The pest showed highly significantly negative correlation with wind speed, minimum temperature, morning and evening relative humidity and morning and evening vapour pressure while significantly positive correlation was found with maximum temperature.
