Adoption of any production technology depends on the availability of the essential resources. The present investigation was carried out in the six purposively selected villages of Pathalogon Block of Jashpur district. Seventy two respondents were selected randomly and personally interviewed with the help of the structured interview schedule. The study revealed that the majority of the (27.77%) was possessing high level of adoption whereas 72.22 per cent had low level of adoption of the tomato production technology. In respect of practice wise extent of adoption, the results revealed that 100 per cent respondents had high level of adoption regarding improved varieties, seed treatment, transplanting and majority of the respondents (84.72%) reported high level of adoption of insect pest. Whereas 75, 61.11, 58.33, 50 per cent respondents reported high level of adoption regarding disease control measures, fertilizer use, land preparation, disease knowledge, distance (Plant to Plant). While in case of use of weedicides all the respondents (100%) had low level of adoption.
