The present studies were undertaken at ASPEE Agricultural Research and Development Farm, Village: Nare, Tal: Wada, Dist: Palghar (Maharashtra) during Rabi 2014–15 to study the effect of border crops on infestation of okra shoot and fruit borer, Earias spp. under field condition. The minimum per cent fruit infestation was recorded in T5(20.01) i.e. Sunflower as a border crop followed by T3 (21.86) i.e. Marigold and T2 (22.98) i.e. Sweet corn. The maximum infestation was noticed in T7 (33.61) i.e. No border crop (Control).
