In stages of supply chain, producers and consumers are the important players as the farmer is the main driver of the chain to corporate and gets the high percentage of margin and mutually consumer is also benefited with quality and fresh fruits and vegetables at reasonable price. But the producer and consumer often get a poor deal and the middle men control the market, but do not add much value due to massive wastage, deterioration in quality as well as frequent mismatch between demand and supply both spatially and overtime. The inflation and price rise have long been the causes of worry among the Indian consumers. In such a scenario, supply chain management could help control prices come like a cool breeze in sweltering summer. But the producer and consumer often get some problems in supply chain management to meet their requirement.
