Abstract

Thirty divergent genotypes of linseed were studied for genetic variability, heritability, genetic advance and correlation coefficient during rabi 2011–12. The highest magnitude of genotypic variation was observed for seed yield per plant. High heritability coupled with high genetic advance was observed for capsule per plant and branches per plant. Capsule per plant, seeds per capsule, plant height, test weight and branches per plant had positive association with seed yield per plant.
