An experiment was conducted at Zonal Agricultural Research Station, Navile, Shivamogga, to evaluate the local germplasms of groundnut. 49 germplasms of groundnut were examined against M. arenaria and M. javanica. Twenty six germplasms were found to be resistant while seventeen were moderately resistant. Moderately susceptible germplasms were four.
