Experiment was conducted during 2013 kharif season at ARS, Mudhol to study the effectof precision nutrient management on yield, nutrient uptake and nutrient balance sheet of maize. Application of nutrientsfor targetyield level of 140 qha−1recorded significantly higher grain (128.26 q ha−1) and stover yield (150.65 q ha−1). At 60 DAS and at harvest target yield level of 140 q ha−1 receded significantly higher N, P2O5 and K2O uptake (206.9, 27.7 and 65.9 kg ha1) and (338.4, 60.4 and 104.9 kg ha−1) respectively. However, with respect to available nutrients target yield level of 140 q ha−1 receded higher available N, P2O5 and K2O (175.8, 24.5 and 1097 kg ha−1 respectively) as compared to other treatment combinations.
