The heavy metal concentration of honey, honey bee and water samples were tested by using honey bee as bio monitoring tool for vehicular pollution at world famious Shalimar Garden in Kashmir valley through ICP-AES. It was observed that the concentration of highly toxic heavy elements (Cd, Co, Ni, Pb, Ni, B, Li) were less than 0.01PPM in all the samples except Pb in honey bee sample which showed 1.979 PPM concentration which is being attributedto rich source of vehicular contamination due to huge flow of tourist vehicles.
