The experiment was conducted at College Farm, NAU, Navsari during kharif in a randomized block design with three replications using variety GR-3. Out of seven insecticides tested against blue beetle, Leptispa pygmaea Baly, the treatment of chlorpyriphos 0.05 per cent was found most effective treatment than rest of the treatments withlowest per cent damagedleaves (0.73) and beetle per plant (0.23). The methyl parathion 0.05 per cent considered as next best treatment to control this pest.
