The experimental sites chosen for field study are locatedin Hadonahalli KVK, Bangalore rural district. Department of Agricultural Entomology, GKVK, Bangalore. We took seven botanicals for experiment such as Neem oil-2%, Neem seed kernel extract 5%, Vitexnegundo leaf extract-5%, Pongamia oil 3%, PSKE-5%, Mahua oil-3%, Anona leaf extract 5%, Triazophos 0.15%, and control. Results reveals that among the botanicals Neem oil, NSKE and Pongamia oil were found to be effective in bringing down whitefly population. Anona leaf extract and Vitexnegundo leaf extract were least effective against whitefly. While, triazophos was the best and recorded the least survival of population of whitefly. Decreasing tendency was noticed inthe efficacy of botanicals with lapse in the time under field condition.
