An experiment was conducted during the winter (rabi) season of 2000–01 and 2001–02 on loamy sand soil of Jobner (Rajasthan) to find out the effect of irrigation, foliar spray of sulphuric acid and pre-sowing seed treatments on Indian mustard {Brassica Juncea (L.) Czernj & Cosson}. The field experiment was laid out in split plot design with three replications. Application of three irrigations applied at branching, flowering and siliqua development stages significantly increased all the growth parameters, yield attributes and seed yield over one and two irrigations. Similarly foliar spray of sulphuric (0.1%) significantly increased dry matter accumulation, siliquae/Plant length of siliqua, test weight and seed yield over control (water spray). Among diverse seed treatments, thiourea (0.05%) and KCI (1.0%) significantly increased dry matter accumulation, siliquae/plant, length of siliqua and seed yield over control (dry seed).
