Abstract

The field experiment was conducted during kharif 2010–11 on medium black clay soil at Latur to study the maximization of soybean (Glycine max (L.) Merill) var. JS-335 productivity through integrated nutrient management (INM) with the organic sources, viz. vermicompost, farm yard manure (FYM) in combination with inorganic nutrients and Bradyrhizobium. The experimental results revealed that application of 75% recommended dose of nitrogen (RDN) + 25% dose of nitrogen (N) through vermicompost + Bradyrhizobium culture seed treatment gave the highest yield. Use of organic sources helped in maintaining soil fertility in terms of available nutrients.
