Abstract

Correlation studies were conducted by screening 25 sorghum germplasm collections consisting 3 resistant and 3 susceptible controls for resistance to Dr. PDKV, Akola, Maharashtra, India. Results revealed that the characters, trichome density per mm2 and recoveryof infested plants were negatively correlated with dead heart percentage. Glossiness was negatively correlated with dead heart at 14 DAE.
