Abstract

In vitro and in vivo efficacy of different fungicides against the Alternaria leaf spot of of okra caused by A. chlamydospora were carried out at College of Agriculture, Dhule. Among eleven different fungicides tested in vitro, Propiconazole, Hexaconazole @ 0.1% and Copper oxychloride (0.25%) recorded maximum growth inhibition 100%, it was followed by Tebuconazole (0.1%) and Difeconazole (0.1%) which recorded 95.66 and 90.00 per cent growth inhibition respectively. Efficacy of fungicides tested in vivo (0.1%) revealed that, Propiconazole (0.1%) recorded maximum per cent disease control 78.13%, it was followed by Hexaconazole (0.1%) and Copper oxychloride (0.25%) with 77.63 and 76.91 per cent disease control respectively.
