Constraints Perceived by Soybean Growers in Getting Information Regarding Various Aspects of Soybean Production Technology

Present study was conducted in Dahod district of Gujarat state to identify the constraints perceived by the farmers in getting information regarding various aspects of soybean production technology. Total 120 farmers selected for final study. Results indicates that, telecast should be at suitable time, field visits to research stations should be organized agricultural information is not available as and when required, irregular visit of village level workers, agricultural information broadcasting through radio/TV is not sufficient, less contact of retailer/input dealer, agricultural information broadcasted through radio/TV is not timely were major constraints perceived by soybean grower. Agricultural information should be supply regularly by nearest agricultural information centre, village level workers should visit regularly, training should provided before the cropping season, at least two time in a year, radio/TV programme regularly were important suggestion to overcome the constraints in getting information regarding various aspects of soybean production technology.
