An experiment on “Effect of bioinoculants and cobalt on yield and nutrient uptake by summer greengram [Vigna radiata (L.) Wilczek] in loamy sand” was conducted at the Agronomy Instructional Farm, Chimanbhai Patel College of Agriculture, Sardarkrushinagar Dantiwada Agricultural University, Sardarkrushinagar during summer 2013. Sixteen treatment combinations comprising four treatment of bioinoculants viz., I0 = noinoculation, I1= inoculation with Rhizobium, I2= inoculation with phosphate solubilizing bacteria and I3 = inoculation with Rhizobium and PSB and four levels of cobalt viz., Co0= control, Co1= 0.10 kg Co ha−1, Co2= 0.20 kg Co ha−1 and Co3= 0.30 kg Co ha−1 were tried in randomized block design with factorial concept with three replications. For achieving higher yield and economic returns from summer greengram crop cv. GM 4, dual inoculation with Rhizobium + PSB along with 0.20 kg Co ha−1 should be applied in Co deficient light textured soils.
