A field was conducted at A.I.F., C. P. College Agronomy Farm, S. D. Agricultural University, Sardarkrushinagar during summer 2013 to find out a suitable irrigation schedule and sources of nitrogen under north Gujarat conditions. The experiment was laid out in Randomized Block Design with factorial concept (FRBD) with three levels of nitrogen, N1-20 kg N ha−1, N2-30kg N ha−1 and N3-40 kg N ha−1 and tree levels of S1-10 kg S ha−1, S2-20 kg S ha−1 and S3-30 kg S ha−1 treatments with three replications. The result revealed that among the different nitrogen levels and sulphur levels recorded the higher yields and net return can be secured from summer clusterbean crop by application of 40kg Nha−1(urea) and 30 kg S ha−1 (gypsum) in S deficient light textured soils of North Gujarat.
