Post-harvest studies were conducted by using pulsing and simulated transportation on vase life of 29 ornamental cut foliages under Shevroys hills at Horticultural Research Station, Yercaud during 2012–13. Different Holding solution containing Sucrose 5%+ AgNO3 50 ppm significantly increased the vaselife of Dracaena reflexa (16.3 days), Heliconia rostrata (16.3 days), Dracaena fragrans “lemon lime” (16.2 days) and Philondendron red (16.2 days) and Dracaena sanderiana also(16.1 days). Pulsing solution containing Sucrose 5%+ AgNO3100ppm significantly increased vase life of Dracaena” purple compacta” (20.6 days) followed by Cordyline chocolate queen (20.3 days) Draceana marginata (20.1 days) and Philodendron xanadu. (201 days). With respect to the packing studies polythene sheet, recorded the maximum vase life in Dracaena fragrans ‘Massangeana’ (16.5 days) and it was significantly higher to all other species. From the results obtained in this experiment, it could be concluded that effect of pulsing treatments and holding treatments(P5-Sucrose 5%+AgNO3100ppm and H4-Sucrose 5%+ AgNO3 50ppm) could significantly improve the keeping quality of cut foliages
