Biology of mustard aphid (Lipaphis erysimi) carried out on three cultivar of mustard at Anand in Middle Gujarat during Rabi season of 2014–15 under laboratory condition. The study revealed that the total nymphal periods varied from 6 to 10 (Av. 8.00 ± 0.46 days), 7 to 10 (Av. 9.00 ± 1.61 days) and 6.40 to 11 (Av. 8.89 ± 1.28 days) days on cvs. GM-4, Bio-902 and GM-3, respectively. Maximum nymphal duration was found on Bio-902 (9.00 ± 1.61) and minimum on GM-4 (8.00 ± 0.46) whereas, the adult (female) livedlonger when reared on Bio-902 (Av. 6.57 ± 1.36) than GM-3 and GM-4 cultivars. Fecundity was more when reared on BIO-902 (Av. 22.67 ± 9.71) as compared to GM-3 and GM-4.
