In vitro Evaluation of Selected Bio Agent Isolates Isolated from Conservation Agriculture Ecosystem of Red Gram and Maize

Abstract

Among the four isolates of Trichoderma spp. viz., T. harzianum, T. viride, T. hamatum and T. virens and bacterial isolates of Fluorescent Pseudomonads were screened against R. bataticola of highest per cent inhibitionof 71.11 by Fluorescent Pseudomonads (FP-1), whereas T. virens and Fluorescent Pseudomonads (FP-2) recorded lowest per cent inhibition of 56.66 and 55.11 respectively. The per cent inhibition of Fusarium udum was maximum in Fluorescent Pseudomonads (FP-2) 71.11 whereas T. virens 56.66 and Fluorescent Pseudomonads (FP-1) on par with each other by recording lowest per cent inhibition on F. udum. Where as in case of Colletotrichum truncatum highest per cent inhibition of 64.38 by T. virens, where as Fluorescent Pseudomonads (FP-1) isolate recorded lowest per cent inhibition of 26.45. The per cent inhibition of E. truncatum was highest 70.33 by the isolate of T. hamatum and it was lowest by Fluorescent Pseudomonads (FP-2) 35.13.
