The glutinous rice germplasm studied in the present investigation are found diverse nutritionally On dry weight basis, moisture contents of genotypes ranged from 8.55 to 9.35 per cent, amylose from 0.05 to 5.4 per cent, starch from 74.21 to 82.83 per cent, Total Soluble Sugar from 0.72 to 1.16 per cent, reducing sugar from 0.60 to 0.84%, Non reducing sugar from 0.42 to 0.69 per cent, GC from 54 to 100 mm, GT from 4 to 7, crude fat content from 2.64 to 3.76 per cent, crude protein content 8.10 to 10.32, lysine content from 2.71 to 3.39 (g/100 g of protein) and Total Soluble protein from 3.99 to 4.44 per cent. There was a significant correlation observed among different parameters studied. Correlation analysis revealed the mutual relationship between variables and helpful in simultaneous improvement of correlated characters. This will be helpful for breeder for independent selection of genotype for a particular trait for rice improvement programme.
