Sixteen Konkan Kanyal kids were selected and distributed into four treatmentsviz. T0- Mulbery (Morus alba) ad lib. + creep feed (100 g). T1- Mulbery (Morus alba) ad lib. + 10% creep feed replaced with Azolla meal. T2- Mulbery (Morus alba) ad lib. + 20% creep feed replaced with Azolla meal. T3- Mulbery (Morus alba) ad lib. + 30% creep feed replaced with Azolla meal. Before the starting of experiment initial body weight of kids were recorded. The results observedon DMI, body weight during the experimental period were found significantly (P<0.05) superior in T2 treatment. The total cost per kg live weight gain for T0, T1, T2 and T3 were found to be Rs. 96.04, 80.40, 69.07 and 69.31, respectively. Thus the (20%) containing creep feed replaced with Azolla meal that was more economically beneficial than other three groups of creep feeds could be used to significantly bring down the economic cost.
