Abstract

The results on the effect of different treatments alone and in combination showed that in terms of percent reduction of Scirpophaga incertulas over control, fipronil (15 kg/ha), monocrotophos (1.4 lt/ha), cholorpyrifos (0.5 lt/ha), fipronil + neem oil (7.5 kg/ha + 1 lt/ha), monocrotophos + neem oil (1.4 lt/ha), neem oil + soap (1 lt/ha + 0.5 kg/ha) and neem oil (2 lt/ha) were found superior. The incidence of Scirpophaga incertulas was observed during the 29th standard week till 38th standard week and the incidence had non-significant relationship with relative humidity evening, rainfall, wind velocity but significant relationship temperature, relative humidity morning and sunshine.
