The study was conducted on "Effect of Different Growth regulators and Potting media on macro- propagation and morphological appearance of Mimusops elengi" in the Forest Nursery and Research Centre (School of Forestry and Environment) of Sam Higginbottom Institute of Agriculture Technology and Sciences, Allahabad. The cuttings were obtained from the SHIATS, campus with 15 cm length and without any branches and flowers. The experiment was laid out in Completely Randomized Design (CRD). There were thirteen treatments and three replications including control which includes several growth regulators viz. control (distilled water), IBA (100PPm, 200PPm, 400PPm), IAA (100PPm, 200PPm, 400PPm), 2–4 D (100PPm, 200PPm, 400PPm), and GA3 (100PPm, 200PPm, 400PPm) were used for ten cuttings per replication. Among the different treatments the most effective growth regulator was T6 (IBA 400PPm) which gave best results for different parameters viz. survival percentage, length of shoots, number of leaves, length of roots, number of roots, fresh shoot weight, dry shoot weight, fresh root weight and dry root weight compared to control and other treatments, so it can be recommended that IAA 400PPm as the most effect growth regulator among all the treatments. In potting media there were eight treatments and three replications including control and the combinations were soil only (control), Sand + Soil + FYM, Sand + Soil, Sand + FYM +Vermicompost, FYM + Soil + Neem cake, Soil + Sand + Vermicompost, Sand + Soil + Neem cake and Soil + Neem cake + Vermicompost in the ratio 1:1:1. Among all the potting media combinations most effective treatment was T1 (Sand, Soil and FYM 1:1:1) which shows best results in different parameters viz. survival percentage, shoot length, number of leaves, length of roots, number of roots, fresh shoot weight, dry shoot weight, fresh root weigh and dry root weight compared to control and other treatments. So, it can be recommended as IAA 400PPm for growth regulators and the combination of sand, soil and FYM is best suited for growth, survival and best morphological appearance on cuttings of Mimusops elengi.
