Propagation studies in mango with epicotyl grafting were carried out with eight growing media. Three sub-treatments included grafting on 8, 10, and 12 day old rootstock. The highest sprouting of graft scion was recorded in soil + FYM + sand followed by soil + sand. Sprouting was significantly higher with the use of 8 day old rootstock for grafting followed by in 10 day old rootstock. The highest survival percentage and minimum mortality at 30 DAG to 120 DAG was observed in soil + FYM + sand followed by soil + sand but the higher survival percent with the use of 10 day old rootstock for grafting followed by in 12 day old rootstock. Vegetative growth viz. scion length, girth and number of leaves on sprout were the highest in plant grafted on 10 days old rootstock after germination followed by 12 days old rootstock with media of soil + FYM + sand (1:1:1).
