The Soybean rust (P. pachyrhizi) reported as most destructive disease of soybean causing 10 to 90 per cent losses Worldwide including India. The rust incidence was reported from the states of Maharashtra, Karnataka and Madhya Pradesh. Therefore, the present investigation on effect of sowing dates and varieties on soybean rust was undertaken during Kharif, 2012.
