Abstract

The seasonal incidence studies on summer okra as influenced by weather parameters on aphid showed its peak presence of 16.50 aphids/3 leaves during 16th MW of April. The correlation between aphid population on okra and bright sunshine hour (r= 0.538*) was found positively significant, whereas with rainy days (r= -0.555*) was negatively significant. The linear regression equations were set of aphid population by working out regression coefficient (b) and constant (a). The multiple regression equation fitted were also worked out and the coefficient of determination (R2) mostly having higher indication, showed that the predictions of aphid population by using weather parameters were reliable.
