Abstract

This experiment was carried out ti study the effect of organic matter FYM and biofertilizers (Glomus, Azotobacter and PSB) on their interaction and effect on growth parameters of the Noni (Morinda citrifolia L.). The growth parametersnamely plant height, plant girth, No of leaves were recorded at 30, 60, 90 and 120 days after planting the seedlings. The results indicated that the application of biofertilizers showed a significant difference in comparison with the control in all growth parameters. In the treatment that received all the three inoculants Glomus fasiculatum, Azotobacter chrococcum and Bacillus megaterium recorded highest growth in comparision to all other treatments fallowed by Glomus fasiculatum and Azotobacter chrococcum treatment. However organic matter used showed a significant effect on the crop growth in all treatments.
