To know the limitations recognized by the extension educationists in transferring agricultural information through Agricultural FM Radio (AFMR), the study was conducted on a random sample of 60 extension educationists working at Anand Agricultural University (AAU), Anand in Gujarat state. The data were collected by personal contact. Five major limitations viz., lack of realization among farmers to use AFMR for agricultural information, lack of realization to have AFMR in the process of transfer of technology, nonexistent of special cell to develop agricultural mass media in the country, lack of trained and efficient workforce to manage all the elements of AFMR and lack of talented agricultural journalists, were realizedby the extension educationists of AAU in transferring information through FM radio. The study was also conducted to examine suggestions of the extension educationists to establish AFMR to transfer agricultural information with same sample size and same method of data collection. Five major suggestions viz., need to conduct survey and research to know the interest of the farmers to start AFMR, need to involve local artists to make farmer friendly AFMR, need to develop AFMR format to make it accessible on mobile and internet, need to plan sustainable strategy to start AFMR and need to create realization to start AFMR in transfer of rural technology among associated authorities & need to attract media by showing potentially of opportunities of emerging agricultural markets through AFMR were given by the extension educationists of AAU to establish AFMR in transferring agricultural information.
