Mushroom cultivation is a profitable argil business and oryster mushroom is an edible mushroom having excellent flavor and taste. Oyster mushroom (Plerotus ostreatous) was cultivated on paddy straw basal substrate. The present study deals with cultivation of oyster mushroom onpaddystraw by the delayed spawn inoculation is performing better in number of days taken for spawn running, number of days taken for formation of fruiting bodies.
