The study was conducted in Cuddalore district of Tamil Nadu to study the marketing, processing and export of cashew. The compound growth rate, Coppack Instability index, ARIMA model and Markov chain analysis were employed to study the cashew export. The marketing channel I without wholesaler received the highest farmer share of 75 per cent. Export processing units are receiving a higher profit generation over cottage units. Value compound growth rate is lagging behind the quantity compound growth rate by 1.90 per cent and also it is less stable. Stable importers from India are UAE, Singapore and Algeria.
