An experiment was conducted to study the effect of different media viz. King's B medium, nutrient agar medium and Pseudomonas agar medium amended with pesticides on growth of Pseudomonas fluorescens at different pH ranges. Maximum growth was recorded in Kings B medium added with benomy l @ 0.2% (11.17×108) and in nutrient agar added with thiram @ 0.1% (8.9×108). Incorporation of spinosad and emamectin benzoate in Pseudomonas agar medium recorded maximum count of Pseudomonas fluorescens. All tested medium gave maximum growth of P. fluorescens amended with herbicides The results indicated the significance of pH of the medium where pH 6 showed inhibitory action against growth of P. fluorescens whereas, pH 7 and 8 was supportive to P. fluorescens at different pesticide concentration.
