Abstract

The research has done to know the response of different foliar application of growth promoting substances on pre-bearing mango plantation on CV. Kesar. Different growth promoting substances like T1-1% KNO3, T2-2% KNO3, T3-5% Humic acid, T4-10% Humic acid, T5-NAA 25 ppm, T6-NAA 50 ppm, T7-0.5% Urea and T8-1% Urea were sprayed on plant leaves and for every treatment common dose of NPK i.e. 120 + 150 + 50 gm per plant was applied in three split doses. Vegetative growth of plant was observed. The treatment T3and T4 were found superior among all treatment as application of humic acid at 5% (T3) help to influence the vegetative growth in respect to plant height, stemdiameter and shoot length of mangoplant and T4 (10% humic acid) helped to influence the leaf area as well as chlorophyll content.
