Effect of Growth Promoting Substances on Pre-Bearing Mango Plantation

The research has done to know the response of different foliar application of growth promoting substances on pre-bearing mango plantation on CV. Kesar. Different growth promoting substances like T₁-1% KNO₃, T₂-2% KNO₃, T₃-5% Humic acid, T₄-10% Humic acid, T₅-NAA 25 ppm, T₆-NAA 50 ppm, T₇-0.5% Urea and T_8-1% Urea were sprayed on plant leaves and for every treatment common dose of NPK i.e. 120 + 150 + 50 gm per plant was applied in three split doses. Vegetative growth of plant was observed. The treatment T₃and T₄ were found superior among all treatment as application of humic acid at 5% (T₃) help to influence the vegetative growth in respect to plant height, stemdiameter and shoot length of mangoplant and T₄ (10% humic acid) helped to influence the leaf area as well as chlorophyll content.
