An experiment was carried out to evaluate the performance of potato genotypesat different maturity in Chhattisgarh Plain; an agro-climatic zone of Chhattisgarh State. Data revealed that there was significant differential response due to genotypes for all the attributes such as per cent plant emergence after 30 days of planting, foliage senescence, total tuber yield (t/ha) and marketable tuber yield (t/ha) indicating existence of substantial variation among potato genotypes. The genotype C-14 found superior over all three genotypes for the entire attributes viz. plant emergence (93.08 and 97.08%), total tuber yield (14.96 and 16.31 t/ha), marketable tuber yield (13.23 and 14.93 t/ha) at 60 and 75 day of maturity respectively. Out of four entries evaluated for storage behavior at room temperature C-16 shown minimum rottage loss on number basis (4.83%) and weight basis (4.83%) along with minimum total loss (10.60%).
